  1. Maybe your dogs are getting adopted into the or forever home because your asking for a lot of money to adopt them. If you people really care about these dogs getting adopted then the highest adoption fee you would ever charge would like $25 at MOST!!!!

    1. I foster for a rescue in California, we charge the same amount as do most. It cost money to get the dogs ready for adoption. It often cost us more then what is charged because of medical issues or longer care while waiting. The only profit is to know the dogs are finding loving homes.

  3. That is absurd. ^^ These adoption fees are needed to help take care of the dog you are adopting and the needs of the other dogs in the rescue, as well. You know nothing about rescue if you think an animal is $25. These sre VERY good prices for saving a LIFE! Keep up the good work,Life Dog! Dogs are meant to be kept for Life ;)

  4. I've found adoption fees over $400. I have also been a foster for over 20 animals and I know how much money goes into not just their daily care and vet/spay-neuter bills but also helping other dogs in the rescue who need surgery or heartworm treatment. Tbh, I would not even feel comfortable having people adopt an animal from me who wouldn't or can't pay a decent adoption fee, I am not sure they would be willing to pay for vet care and unexpected illnesses.
